The wild dogs or Dhole (popularly known to the locals) are found only in Bijrani and have a strikingly focused hunting technique within the community.

In many cases, the lantana bushes will provide you with amazing views of the tigers. The fragrance of the mahua flowers that complement the flora of the Bijrani trail is enticing to sloth bears. You can get a perfect view of the sloth bears crossing your jeep and nothing can be as exciting as such a scene. Usually, sloth bears come out to enjoy the sweet nectar of mahua flowers, and seeing them suck the nectar is really a fascinating activity.

The park is covered with Sal trees and 600 species of distinct plants. Also, there are hundreds of various species of birds which include rare birds like Hornbill and White-backed Vultures. Moreover, the Ramganga river that flows inside the park houses diverse marine life encircled by Golden Oriole, Pallas Fish Eagle, Indian Pitta, and reptiles like Alligator, Crocodiles, and King Cobra.

How to Reach Bijrani Forest Lodge

The Amdanda Gate is the gateway to entering the Bijrani Safari Zone and staying at the Bijrani Forest Lodge. It is located about 2 km from Ramnagar town. The forest rest station is located 7 km from Aamdanda Gate.

Best time to visit
The Bijrani Gate opens on 15th October every year but the forest lodge accommodation is provided from 15th November to 15th June.

How to book Bijrani Forest Lodge
Reservations for Bijrani forest lodge, Corbett Park can be made 90 days before the check-in date. Non-Indian passengers can make their advance bookings 90 days before the check-in date. A passport is mandatory for non-Indian travelers as proof of identity.

Among the most common trees are rohini, karipak, ber, grevia, simal, bael, jingan, kurha, marorfali, tendu, khair, etc.
