A scale safari offers a very playful ride in Corbett National Park, which has the richest concentrations of animals. The ultimate safari experience maximizes the chance of seeing the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger resting in its natural habitat. Although a day visit to the Dhikala tourist area is not allowed except during the Canter safari tour which is organized by the Corbett Tiger Reserve management.

Tourists who want to enjoy a canter ride should come to the reception at Ramnagar. A safari trip is five hours long in a given shift. The morning shift starts around 06:00 and the evening shift starts around 02:00. It is important to note that day jeep safaris are not allowed in the Dhikala tourist area. Tourists can make a booking request for jeep safaris 30 days in advance for Indian nationals and 90 days in advance for foreign nationals. To confirm your online safari booking, we will require personal information such as the name, age, and gender of all passengers and a photo ID along with the confirmation amount. Please remember to bring the relevant original photo ID for verification during park entry.

Corbett National Park (CNP) is one of the richest wildlife areas in India. The tiger reserve covers an area of 1,288.34 sq km, which includes two protected areas: Corbett National Park (520.82 sq km) and Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary (301.18 sq km).

Corbett National Park has captured the imagination of many with its diverse wildlife and breathtaking scenery. The natural uniqueness of the area has long been recognized and so in 1936 Corbett was awarded the distinction of being the first national park established in mainland Asia.

Corbett National Park is located in two districts – Nainital and Pauri – in the mountainous state of Uttaranchal in northern India. Its area is 521 sq km, and together with the neighboring territories of the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary and reserve forests, it forms the Corbett Tiger Reserve with an area of 1288 sq km.
