Dhangari Gate has located 18 km from Ramnagar and Dhikala Tourist Complex is located 31 km inside Dhangari Gate. Dhikala is open for tourists from November 15 to June 15. But it remains inaccessible during the monsoon season. The Dhikala Tourist Complex overlooks the Ramganga Reservoir and is an ideal spot for spotting crocodiles and gharials bathing on the banks of the Ramganga.
Accommodation: Different types of accommodation are available in Dhikala. Along with the Forest Rest Station, the lodges, the lodge, the Dhikala Annex also has 24 bunk beds in wooden lodges. The rooms are comfortable and have basic amenities.
Food and other services: A very good restaurant caters to the needs of visitors staying at Dikala Tourist Complex. The restaurant serves buffet-style meals with a good selection of quality food. A small canteen is also available to visitors. In the evening, visitors can enjoy a screening of a wildlife film and also spend their free time reading books in the well-stocked library.
How to Reach Dhikala Forest Rest House?
By road – Dhikala, Jim Corbett National Park is about 300 km from Delhi. It takes about 6 hours from Delhi to Dhikala.
The route from Delhi is –
Delhi – Hapur – Garhmukeshwar – Moradabad – Thakurdwara – Ramnagar – Dhikala, Jim Corbett National Park.
By Train – Ramnagar is the nearest railway station to reach Dhikala. Dhikala gateway is about 32 km from Ramnagar railway station. Ramnagar station code is RMR.
By Air – Pantnagar is the nearest domestic airport to reach Dhikala, Jim Corbett National Park. It is only 50 km from Corbett Park. Delhi is the nearest international airport at a distance of 300 km.

Clothing information
November – Mid-December – If you plan to visit Dhikala from November to mid-December, wear light woolen clothes.
Mid-December – February – If you plan to visit Dhikala from mid-December to February, wear heavy woolen clothes, especially jackets, fur coats, gloves, and hats (woolen).
March – April – If you plan to visit Dhikala from March to April, carry light jackets, sweaters, etc.
May – June – If you are planning to visit Dhikala in May or June, carry loose cotton clothes with you which absorb sweat very easily. Also wear sunscreen lotions, sunglasses, and hats for sun protection.
Entry timings
Dhangari Gate is the main gateway to reach Dhikala. Entry through Dhagari Gate is only from 6 AM to 4 PM. After 4 PM, entry will not be allowed and the reservation will be canceled and no refund will be given.
